NGO LingvaLexa Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol
The Head of NGO LingvaLexa, international criminal lawyer Anna Vyshniakova, held a working meeting with Nariman Suleymanov, Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol, during which the parties signed a Memorandum of Intent on cooperation.
The document establishes a foundation for systematic cooperation in the field of documenting war crimes and human rights violations. In particular, the partnership will address crimes related to propaganda, the militarization of youth, and the indoctrination of Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
A separate area of cooperation will focus on specialized trainings dedicated to open-source investigations and the use of digital evidence in line with international standards. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of prosecutors’ work in investigating war crimes.
The parties also agreed to develop cooperation in the field of advocacy, particularly with regard to ensuring accountability for crimes related to war propaganda. In this context, NGO LingvaLexa is implementing an advocacy campaign with the support of the Askold and Dir Fund, administered by ISAR Ednannia within the framework of the project “Strong Civil Society of Ukraine — a Driver of Reforms and Democracy,” funded by Norway and Sweden.
NGO LingvaLexa highly values this partnership, as it strengthens joint efforts to address the challenges posed by war, advances accountability mechanisms, and ensures that investigations are conducted in line with the highest international standards.
